A wonderful day

I forgot how much fun the kids and I have letterboxing. We haven't been since last spring because it is just so hot in the summer here to go spend hours in the woods. We got out today and had we not been starving would have probably kept going til dark. They have so much fun with this and I do too. I think that is the key...figure out what you really enjoy doing with your kids and do that. They don't care what you are doing as long as you are actively involved. So I don't like to sit and play with toys. I don't have to. I like to letterbox. I like to play board games. I like to read. We do those thigs together. They can play with toys themselves :)
